Asus unveils ZenFone Selfie with 13MP front camera

Asus has joined the selfie-phone bandwagon by announcing a new smartphone, ZenFone Selfie , at Computex 2015 in Taiwan. However, there is no word about the price and availability of the phone yet.

ZenFone Selfie is a dual-sim phone that runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 with 2GB and 4GB options in RAM.

The phone offers internal storage of 16GB, and users who want extra storage can install microSD cards of up to 64GB.

This model has the same 5.5-inch (1080x1920p) LCD display, rear-positioned volume rocker and a curved body for comfortable grip as of its predecessor ZenFone 2.

Competing with HTC Desire Eye, Asus ZenFone Selfie comes with rear and front cameras of 13MP resolution, both with Toshiba SEnsor, laser autofocus and dual-LED (dual-tone) flash.

The front facing camera has 88-degree wide angle to cover more area and click group selfies. ZenFone Selfie features an optional swing attachment to adjust selfie angle or to act as a kickstand .

The phone supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and A-GPS.
