Both of these smartphones bring a 4.5-inch touchscreen and while the HTC Desire 310’s is a simple capacitive one, the LG phone boasts of an IPS LCD display. Also, the former has a 5MP camera and a VGA webcam, while the latter brings an 8MP one and a 1.3MP webcam.

OS and processor:

The LG L70 definitely takes the cake in the OS department as it binges on KitKat 4.4, but has to make do with a 1.2GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor. On the other hand, the Desire 310 brings the Jelly Bean 4.2.2 platform and is fueled by a quad core Mediatek MT6582M SoC which is clocked in at 1.3GHz.

These HTC and LG smartphones are powered by lithium-ion batteries of 2000mAh and 2100mAh capacities, respectively. An entire gigabyte of system memory and 4GB onboard storage is what you will find in both the handsets. They even posses an expansion slot that can support a microSD card of not more than 32GB.

Other features:

Common features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB connectivity and more can be expected from both the contenders. They are also perfectly compatible with 3G networks in India and can support dual SIM cards at the same time. The LG handset is packed within a chassis measuring 127.2 x 66.8 x 9.5 millimeters and the HTC phone is slightly bigger and thicker at 132.4 x 68 x 11.3 millimeters.
